Ms Ka Shun Lee 李嘉萱小姐
Programme Coordinator, TREATS 親切活動統籌
Ka Shun Lee is the Programme Coordinator of TREATS. She graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science in Social Work from City University of Hong Kong and a Master in Social Work from Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Ka Shun has extensive experience in sports in both community and national levels. She was the former Hong Kong women's discus record holder and a member of the National Rugby Team. She was the Hong Kong delegate for the East Asian game in 2009 and the Women's Rugby World Cup in 2017. In 2018, on behalf of TREATS, Ka Shun joined an ASD youth to participate in the Hansa Class World & International Championship in Hiroshima, Japan. It was the first overseas inclusive sailing regatta that TREATS’ inclusive sailing team participated in.
As the Programme Coordinator, she coordinates and implements Inclusive experiential Sports programmes and Youth Development projects, e.g. “Integrate! -Youth Development and Training Project on social inclusion”, “Hong Kong Inclusive Kin-Ball Cup”, “TREATS Inclusive Sailing Race” etc. Ka Shun conducted the pilot Inclusive Kin-Ball project of TREATS since 2018. After two years of planning, the first Hong Kong inclusive Kin-Ball Cup was successfully organized in 2020 and 2021, with over 1,000 beneficiaries of the event, including youths with intellectual and physical disabilities, corporations and community partners.
With professional background in both social work and sports, Ka Shun is dedicated to promoting social inclusion through sports among children and youths of different abilities. She believes that sports transcends ability, race, and background, and every child and youth has the right to participate in sports and the society.
